Outdoor activities occupy a major portion of all cadets’ training time at Air Cadet Summer Camp, RCAF Sataion Sea Island. Every cadet receives instruction in water safety and in the Holger-Neilson method of artificial respiration. Six periods are allocated to swimming at Canada’s famed Empire Pool. Scores of cadets have learned to swim at the current camp. LAC K. Baxter – 1233 Jubilee St. Regina, member of 41 Squadron topped the phase two training class at second camp Air Cadet Camp RCAF Station Sea Island. The award was made by G/C GP Dunlop AFC, Cd. Commanding Officer RCAF Station Moose Jaw, Sask., inspection officer at the passing out of parade held recently at the West Coast base – Baxter established a new high mark for the course 96%. -PAO – 1959
